JLL has appointed Edmund Craston and Ian Gleeson as senior advisors and Nick Evans as a senior consultant to its capital markets business.
This follows the appointment of Julian Schiller as head of capital solutions earlier this year.
The senior roles will assist with the continued expansion of JLL’s EMEA capital markets across both investment advisory and corporate finance.
Craston held senior leadership roles at both Rockspring and Patrizia. Prior to this, he was European head of real estate investment banking at UBS Investment Bank and Lehman Brothers.
He is joined as a senior advisor by Gleeson, who previously spent over 13 years at CBRE Investment Management. During his tenure at CBRE IM he led the CBRE Global Investment Partners business where he focused on indirect strategies globally, and latterly served as CIO of global real estate strategies overseeing direct and indirect strategies.
Evans previously led the Asia Pacific business for Nuveen Real Estate and founded its Australian regulated investment management business. Prior to this he has held several senior portfolio management and capital raising roles in London and Sydney that he will bring to the team.
Schiller said: 'We’re delighted to welcome Edmund, Ian and Nick to our team, to continue providing best-in-class strategic advice to our clients, and to learn from their client side and industry knowledge.
'Few in the industry have the experience of these individuals and we are thrilled to have them on board given the rapid evolution and proliferation of Recaps, JVs, Secondaries, Platform transactions and Club deals.'
Matthew Richards, CEO, EMEA Capital Markets, JLL added: 'It’s great to have such high calibre talent join our Capital Markets business to provide total advice across the capital stack through our unrivalled real estate advisory platform.'
