Deutsche Finance Group, an affiliate of real estate investment firm Deutsche Finance International (DFI), has decided to have its own stand at Expo Real this year.
The company said it was part of the Munich city booth last year given its headquarters is located in the city, but decided the time was right to become a main exhibitor this time around.
It has €12.2 bn of AUM in Europe, and mainly invests via high-yield, institutional club deals. It makes direct investments in core-plus, value added and opportunistic strategies.
It is also the second-largest German real estate investor in the US after Allianz.
One of its prime investments is Olympia Exhibition Centre in London, a €1.5 bn property to be developed into a leading arts, entertainment, and exhibition centre by 2025.
