New York-based investment firm KKR and Boston-based Baupost Group sealed the largest deal of the week and one of the biggest hotel transactions ever in the UK with the purchase of a portfolio of 33 Marriott International hotels from the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority for £900 mln (€1.08 bn).
