Warehouse REIT, the UK REIT that invests in and manages urban and 'last-mile' industrial warehouse assets across the UK, has appointed Scott Edgar as a regional director.
Edgar joins the 17-strong team responsible for managing Warehouse REIT’s diversified warehouse portfolio, which now exceeds six million sq ft (557,000 m2) with a value of £465 mln (€528 mln).
He will report directly to investment director Paul Makin and will oversee all asset management activity across Warehouse REIT’s Northern England and Scotland portfolio, with responsibility for key local stakeholder relationships and delivering a number of identified value-enhancing initiatives.
Edgar brings 20 years’ experience in managing multi-let industrial and logistics properties in the UK. He joins Warehouse REIT from 4Corners Industrial Asset Management, where he was a director, managing a two million sq ft (185,800 m2) portfolio of assets across the UK, while also advising on portfolio acquisition strategy. Previous roles include regional head of Asset Management for the Ashtenne Industrial Fund.
