The Global Hospitality Recovery Fund, which was launched by Waldeck Capital in March to acquire luxury hotels, has appointed Lord Anthony St John to the role of non-executive chairman. Waldeck had originally sought to raise EUR 500 mln in equity for the fund but it has since decided to increase its fundraising target to EUR 1 bn.
Westland Shopping Centre in the Brussels neighbourhood of Anderlecht may be up for sale, according to Belgian media reports.
