Turkey is one of the newcomers taking part in the event at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from November 15 to 17. The Turkish pavilion features five firms: Renaissance Construction and Torunlar (building and real estate development); Oncüoglu Architecture Planing (architecture); IMS Project (retail project development) and ready-to-wear retailer Koton.
The Bansal Group will present a series of building and development projects for shopping centres in Delhi at the India pavilion ; while a number of firms from Romania and Bulgaria will also exhibit. Real estate developer Trigranit will showcase two large mixed retail projects from Hungary.
Israel will be present at MAPIC with the developer AFI Europe Group, which is expanding its activities in Central and Eastern Europe.
Saudi Arabia will be present for the first time via Al Othaim, a specialised company that owns and runs shopping and entertainment centres in the Kingdom.
Other countries, including Russia, are boosting their presence at this year's event.
