EPISO 3, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners, has been granted planning permission to develop 31,000 m2 of logistics space in the middle of Hamburg's port area.
The areas will be developed by Alpha Industrial, a German specialist for logistics properties, which has been commissioned to take care of the project management, marketing and asset management as a service provider.
The logistics park will be built on a site covering around 80,000 m2 with direct links to the A7 motorway and a public transport connection on the doorstep. The first stage of construction with 15,000 m2 of sustainable logistics space is scheduled to be rented out by the end of 2017.
The office, social and mezzanine areas can be developed to cater for specific user needs. The space will be divided up into units starting from around 4,600 m2 and will be built in accordance with the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV).
The existing building complete with the development site was acquired by EPISO 3 in the autumn of 2016.
