Threestones Capital appoints head of Luxembourg arm

Threestones Capital, the Luxembourg-based investment manager, has appointed Ralf Rosenbaum as a managing director based in the company’s Luxembourg headquarters.

Rosenbaum, who took up his post in January, will lead Threestones Capital’s team in Luxembourg with a focus on the company's planned future growth. He joins Threestones from Patrizia Real Estate Investment Management, where he was a managing director and board member.

'This is an important appointment for Threestones Capital at the beginning of a new and exciting period in the company’s evolution,' said Giovanni Perin, partner, Threestones Capital.

'Ralf brings with him over 20 years of experience working for some of the biggest names in the investment community. He will play a key role in guiding our talented Luxembourg team, ensuring that Threestones is set up for continued success as we deliver our sustainable growth plan.'

Prior to moving in to real estate with Patrizia in 2015, Rosenbaum spent two decades in the broader fund management sectors, including BlackRock, MunichRe, State Street and Alceda.

Said Rosenbaum: 'Over the last few years, Threestones Capital has emerged as a major operator in European residential real estate, particularly with their work in the elderly care sector. It is refreshing to be joining a burgeoning company achieving such impressive success with a genuinely boutique approach. I’m looking forward to joining a growing group of passionate people.'
