Skanska wins EUR 50m Norway building contract

Construction company Skanska has won the contract for a NOK 400 mln (EUR 49.5 mln) construction project in the Norwegian city of Stavenger. The company said the order amount will be included in the order bookings for the second quarter of 2007. The project comprises a seven-storey office and residential building, with total floor space of 36,500 m[sup]2[/sup]. Building will start immediately and is due for completion in January 2010.
