Savills boosts hotel team across Germany, Austria & Switzerland

International real estate advisor Savills has recruited Ann-Katrin Kaiser to its DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) hotels team.

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Kaiser is expected to boost Savills' EMEA operations with her experience in hotel management and transactions.

'We’re delighted for Ann-Katrin Kaiser to join our EMEA hotels team. Her several years of experience in both hotel transactions and hotel management will be of huge value in supporting our work in the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, at a time when increasing amounts of global capital is targeting the European hotel sector,' said Richard Dawes, director in the Savills EMEA hotels team.

'Our strong track record across the region, including brokering the €375 mln acquisition of Hilton Vienna for a Korean consortium, is testament to the growing demand for best-in-class European gateway hotel assets.'

Marcus Lemli, CEO Germany and head of investment Europe for Savills, added: 'In Ann-Katrin Kaiser we have found an ideal addition to the EMEA team. She will handle day-to-day business from the Frankfurt office, so that we will also be able to better take advantage of synergies between Germany and international markets.

'With her extensive industry expertise I am confident she is best positioned to understand the requirements of buyers, sellers and tenants.'

Kaiser, associate director in the Savills EMEA hotels team, said: 'I am very much looking forward to this new challenge, in which I will be able to combine my management skills with my hotel and hospitality experience for the benefit of local and international clients.'
