Redos Retail Asset Management announced on Tuesday that it has taken over the asset and centre management of the Petersbogen shopping centre in the German city of Leipzig.
Opened in 2001, Petersbogen offers 10,000 m2 of retail space in the centre of the city and a further 38,000 m2 of cinema and leisure facilities. The centre, which is open to visitors 24 hours a day, was built for an investment volume of EUR 110 mln. Redos said it is responsible for the financial management of the centre on behalf of the owners, 'to ensure transparency of the property investment through efficient controlling and reporting'.
German investment company Redos Real Estate formed Redos Retail Asset Management in November 2007 to provide a range of services including development, asset strategy and management to Redos' clients and other property companies with retail assets.
