Quinlan-Delek group disposes of five 'non-core' Marriott hotels

The joint venture that acquired 47 Marriott Hotels in the UK for EUR 1.6 bn in April has sold five 'non-core' hotels in the portfolio for £69 mln (EUR 96 mln). The hotels sold off are in Derby, Sheffield, Solihull, Grantham and Inverness. The sale was disclosed in the third quarter figures published by Delek Global Real Estate on Monday. It said the five hotels were sold off well above the purchase price of £36 mln to hotel and conference centre operator Principal Hayley.
