The European logistics market goes under the microscope next week as PropertyEU hosts its annual State of Logistics information and networking afternoon from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The event takes place on Thursday 5 September at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Amsterdam Zuid, a new venue supported by host sponsor Union Investment Real Estate.
Speakers at this year’s event include Ian Worboys, CEO, European Green Logistics Space; Ingo Steves, managing partner, logistics, Swiss Life Asset Managers; Laurie Lagarde, head of EMEA logistics operator division for CBRE Investment Management; Neil Campbell, senior investment manager logistics for Union Investment Real Estate; Petra Blazkova, Europe head of core and core-plus research and strategy at LaSalle Investment Management; and Ronald van der Waals, head of Northern Europe, CEE and Nordics for Logicor.
The afternoon discussions will centre on a few key themes including development and key development markets, and ask if we are seeing the start of a capital markets upturn. The flight to quality, the challenges the sector is currently facing and the ongoing sustainability and energy strategies being implemented by the companies present, will also be key talking points.
