Pradera makes major strategic move with new hire

Pradera, a top retail real estate investment management specialist, says it has appointed Joëlle Yarhi as director to launch its first office presence in France.

Yarhi will be tasked with ‘unlocking value’ in the French assets held in the Pradera European Retail Parks Fund SCSp (PERP), which in 2016 acquired 17 retail parks from IKEA Centres, now Ingka Centres.

The three PERP French assets are located in Paris, Avignon, and Reims, with a combined GLA of circa 72,000 sq m and comprising approximately 120 units.

Prior to joining Pradera, Yahri headed up the transaction team at Redevco France Services, the French asset manager, where she oversaw €500 million of sales and €300 million of acquisitions. In previous roles, she worked as an asset manager at ING Real Estate Investment Management and as an investment manager at Hammerson France.

Pradera has just over €3 bn in assets and was founded in 1999. Its properties are let to more than 2,300 stores in the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey and China.

Colin Campbell, chairman, said, ‘We are delighted that Joëlle has joined Pradera to expand our activities in France.
