PE firm Aina sells Dutch Pullman hotel to local investor

Aina Hospitality, a private equity firm focused on upper-end hotels in major European cities, has sold the Pullman Hotel in the Dutch city of Eindhoven to an unnamed local investor for €58 mln.

The sale of the 4-star hotel, operated by Accor Group, was carried out via a share transaction.

The property, known as Hotel Pullman Cocagne, has 320 rooms in addition to conferences facilities, a fitness centre, spa and swimming pool. It focuses on both business travellers and tourists.

Aina acquired the hotel in 2016 as part of its strategy of investing in underperforming real estate and carrying out active management initiatives to increase values.

The vendor was advised on the transaction by Buren, Alantra and Boscalt Partners. The buyer was assisted by NautaDutilh and AKD.

Aina Hospitality has offices in Luxembourg and Andorra, Spain. Its portfolio includes hotels in Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Milan and Vienna.
