Octopus Real Estate has strengthened its care home fund management team with the arrival of Chris Wishart as director of origination.
Wishart will take a leading role in Octopus Real Estate’s care home investment team, finding and delivering elderly and specialist care real estate acquisitions for its institutionally backed funds.
Octopus Real Estate’s care homes team currently manages a portfolio of 60 modern, purpose-built homes, including nine properties under construction, with a market value of over £750 mln.
Wishart joins from Savills, where he has been a director in the healthcare practice since 2017. Prior to this he was a Partner at Knight Frank where he was instrumental in building a market leading healthcare consultancy team.
