The largest city centre retail-led regeneration scheme in the UK opened in Belfast on Thursday. Paul Sargent, managing director of Multi Development UK said the 75,000 m[sup]2[/sup] Victoria Square shopping centre involved a capital investment of £400 mln (EUR 523 mln). The yield was around 5% this time last year although it has slipped out again in the current market,' he said.
Portuguese real estate investor and developer Bondstone is investing around €70 mln in a residential development in Belas Clube de Campo, municipality of Sintra, Portugal.
