Swedish property group Kungsleden has announced the appointment of Ylva Sarby Westman as new chief financial officer from 1 May.
She succeeds Kungsleden’s current CFO Magnus Jacobsson.
Sarby Westman will also remain the group’s deputy CEO, with overall responsibility for Kungsleden’s transactions business, valuation, HR, sustainability and IT.
‘With 25 years in the industry, 11 of which in various senior positions at Kungsleden, she is one of the most experienced and well-qualified people in the real estate sector. Ylva has highly valuable expertise from the entire real estate business and is an experienced and much appreciated leader,’ said Biljana Pehrsson, CEO of Kungsleden.
Sarby Westman was previously deputy CEO of Newsec Investment and head of Property Development at NCC Property Development before starting at Kungsleden in 2009.
