Klépierre appoints chief legal officer

Pan-European shopping centre operator Klépierre has appointed Nathalie Garnier as chief legal officer of the group, as from 17 December 2018. Garnier will report to the Klépierre executive board and be a member of the group management team.

'I am pleased to welcome Nathalie, whose in-depth knowledge of the shopping centre industry and international experience will be invaluable assets in the pursuit of our development strategy,' said Klépierre executive board chairman Jean-Marc Jestin.

Garnier began her career in 1989 as a lawyer within the Jones Day law firm. She was subsequently appointed general counsel of Simon Ivanhoe Europe in 1999, in charge of governance, compliance and legal management. In 2013, Garnier joing De Gaulle, Fleurance and Associes law firm as a partner in Paris, in order to develop the real estate practice.
