Ivanhoé Cambridge snaps up Nanterre office project

Canadian investor Ivanhoé Cambridge has agreed to forward fund the Hub 247 office project located in the Cœur Université eco-district of Nanterre, France.

The office project is currently being built by Bouygues Immobilier and is expected to provide 9,000 m2 of office accommodation on completion in early 2020.

Located adjacent to the new Nanterre Université railway station, the scheme was designed by architects François Leclercq.

'We are delighted with this new transaction, which perfectly illustrates our ability to invest in high value-creation projects,' said Karim Habra, head of Europe at Ivanhoé Cambridge (pictured). 'This transaction is aligned with our overall strategy in France and in Europe, which consists of developing a diversified portfolio of core and high-quality assets.'

Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers have been appointed as marketing agents on the asset.
