Industrious, a global flexible workplace company, has announced its first entry into the German market with a new location in Berlin, developed in partnership with Brookfield Properties Germany.
This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the company’s European expansion, following its recent announcement of Tripolis Park, Amsterdam.
'Berlin is a dynamic city, full of energy, creativity, and innovation—it’s exactly the kind of environment where our flexible workspace model thrives,' said Jamie Hodari, CEO and co-founder of Industrious. 'We’re excited to help businesses here find the right space to grow, whether they’re local startups or international teams looking for a foothold in Europe. We believe our focus on hospitality and thoughtful design will resonate with companies looking for more than just an office.'
Industrious Berlin will be housed in the iconic Atrium Tower in Potsdamer Platz, a property operated and managed by Brookfield Properties.
'We are excited to partner with Industrious to bring their exceptional offering to the Atrium Tower,' said Karl Wambach, President of Brookfield Properties Germany. 'With the demand for flexible office space in Berlin growing by 12% year-over-year, the timing couldn’t be better for us to partner with Industrious and enhance our building’s amenities to create a dynamic tenant experience that will attract innovative companies to a landmark property.'
The workspace will span 5.444 m2, accommodate more than 700 desks, and offer more than 70 private offices and enterprise suites, all thoughtfully designed to create an exceptional work environment. The space will also feature a dedicated on-site team to provide support, along with craft coffee, snacks, and essential office supplies, among other amenities
Industrious’ expansion into Germany is part of a broader European growth strategy, which includes the upcoming opening of a location in Amsterdam and the introduction of Indy by Industrious, a new brand. Industrious Berlin will be the first Indy by Industrious location in the European Union.
Originally launched in Austin, Texas, Indy by Industrious offers a simplified version of the full Industrious experience.
