ICSC's Retail Real Estate Innovation Forum in Berlin, taking place 12-13 September, will feature a stellar line-up exploring how innovation is transforming cities, business models and the retail real estate industry.
Piers Fawkes (pictured), founder and Editor-in-Chief of PSFK, the world's leading provider of innovation trends and insight, is set to speak on key trends at the intersection of experiential retail, community and urbanisation in a hotly anticipated presentation.
Fawkes will be joined at the industry-leading summit by top experts from Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, CBRE, Deutsche Asset Management, Milligan, Vapiano, STIR Architects and more.
'The challenges and opportunities have never been greater in retail real estate. Disruptive change is all around us. Innovation can make the difference between thriving, just surviving or worse,' commented Bill Kistler, executive vice president & managing director – EMEA, ICSC.
'Our upcoming Berlin Forum will provide delegates with the insights to help unlock and profit from innovation, and a chance to meet the visionaries at the forefront of change,' he added.
Forefront of innovation
The dynamic, two-day programme will include panels on the consumer in 2020, reinventing the future, retail mixology, predicting success and other key trends. Berlin's own retail offering will come under the spotlight as well in a special insider's tour of the most innovative retail places in the city on 12 September, while retail's wider impact on urban growth as a whole will also be explored.
Located in the iconic 5-star Sofitel Berlin Kurfürstendamm, overlooking Charlottenburg's most prestigious luxury shopping street, the Forum is taking place close to vibrant, working examples of innovation.
The final, networking drinks on the evening of 13 September will allow delegates to exchange details and conclusions about the future-focused event and build on its insights.
