IC Immobilien is to become one of the first German real estate investment trusts (G-REITs). The company said that it is planning to launch an initial public offering this autumn, and that it will shortly afterwards elect for REIT status. IC Immobilien expects a market capitalisation after listing of about EUR 1 bn.
