Hines hires Greg Cooper to lead entry into UK logistics market

US developer-investor Hines has hired Greg Cooper from Anglesea Capital to lead the company’s entry into the Industrial and Logistics market in the UK.

Cooper joins Hines UK as director of industrial and logistics, a new role which has been created as part of the firm’s plans to enter the market later this year.

He has over 10 years of experience specialising in investment, development and asset management of UK logistics. As an investment manager, he worked alongside a range of investors to source, acquire and manage direct logistics investments. He previously spent eight years as a market advisor with Cushman & Wakefield.

Ross Blair, senior managing director and head of Hines UK, said: 'The evolution of Hines UK continues apace, with our intention to enter the Industrial and Logistics market representing the latest chapter of our diversification, following our successful move in recent years into retail and student housing.'
