New York-based investment fund Highbrook Investors has emerged as the buyer of the Boompjes 258 office scheme in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam from APF International for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition comes hard on the heels of Highbrook's acquisition in April of the €615 mln Dutch Mesdag Delta portfolio in an off-market deal with Breevast. Also, the US investor last week took over the Groot Handelsgebouw near Rotterdam's central station for €90 mln.
Boompjes 258 provides around 16,200 m2 of office space across 21 storeys and is majority let (60%) to Ernst & Young on a long-term rental agreement.
APF bought the asset in 2015 in a joint venture with US investment manager Ares as part of a larger portfolio transaction comprising 18 assets.
Van Gool Elburg Vastgoedspecialisten and Loyens Loeff advised the buyer while Vriman M&A and JLL acted for the vendor.
