HB Reavis inks largest Czech sale of the year

CEE property developer HB Reavis has announced the sale of its Metronom business centre in Prague to Czech investor Reico's CS nemovitostní fund.

The transaction, worth around CZK 2.3 bn (€90 mln), is said to be the largest single-asset office property deal so far this year.

HB Reavis completed Metronom in 2015. The 10-storey office building offers nearly 34,000 m2 of floor space across three interconnected buildings located near the Nové Butovice metro station.

The complex, which boasts an Excellent rating under BREEAM environmentally-sustainable standards, is largely let to the German software giant SAP with other tenants including BMW and AbbVie.

'The commercial success of Metronom shows beyond all doubt that our office spaces, designed and built with people in mind, focus mainly on the needs of prospective users and provide what both clients and investors seek,' said Petr Herman, CEO of HB Reavis in the Czech Republic.
