Research indicates that green buildings can command up to a 16% premium on being sold compared to a conventional property, according to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). RICS' chief executive Louis Armstrong said research findings also indicated green buildings can attract a rental premium of between 3% and 5%.
