French investment company Flash Consult Invest has said it will build two shopping malls in Romania by 2009 for an investment of EUR 140 mln. Citing a report in local newspaper Ziarul Financiar, the Kempen & Co Property Daily said the malls, of 45,000 m[sup]2[/sup] and 55,000 m2, will be built in the Romanian cities of Craiova and Ploiesti. The company is already building two malls in Romania for about EUR 80 mln.
Swedish construction company Skanska signed a contract with Finnish retail conglomerate Kesko Oyj to build a new K-Citymarket store in Lahti, Finland.
