Dublin apartment blocks go on sale for €135m

Advisers Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield have issued a guide price of €135 mln for a partially finished development in Dublin, in what is set to be one of the city's largest single residential deals so far this year.

Known as the Grange, the project on the Stillorgan Road includes a total of 507 apartments, 274 of which will go on sale together with an adjoining 4-acre site, which is expected to accommodate an additional 263 apartments.

The original scheme, extending across an 11.3 acre, was previously home to the Irish headquarters of petroleum giant Esso. It was bought by Glenkerrin Homes in 2004 for over €85 mln. The firm built and sold 323 apartments before the property crash, when Nama appointed Grant Thornton to finish off the project.
