German fund manager Commerz Real has sold its office property in Hoofddorp in the Netherlands, to Perial Asset Management for €38 mln.
The building, located in the Amsterdam-Schiphol airport area with more than 9,000 m2 of office space and nearly 200 car parking spaces, has been part of the portfolio of the Commerz Real open-ended real estate fund Hausinvest since its completion in 2009 and has been leased in full to Irdeto, a provider of security solutions for digital platforms, ever since. Irdeto had recently prolonged the lease agreement.
Commerz Real was advised on the transaction by Cushman & Wakefield and legal advisor Houthoff. Perial Asset Management was advised byL'Etoile Properties, NautaDutilh and Royal Haskoning.
This is the second time L'Etoile has advised on an acquisition in Hoofddorp in the past year: at end-December it advised another French company on the purchase of the NOW office. L'Etoile will carry out the asset management for Perial's latest acquisition, its fourth in the Netherlands.
