Colliers International has expanded its German industrial & logistics team by adding coverage of the Leipzig region.
The Leipzig team will be led by director Steffen Sauer working alongside senior consultants, Daniela Schneider and Daniel Bralic.
'We have a strategic growth plan to expand our platform across Germany in response to client demand,' said Matthias Leube, CEO of Colliers International, Germany. 'This new team includes three senior experts in the industrial and logistics sector, all with an excellent track record and extensive knowledge of the region. Steffen and his team are hugely talented and will complement our existing professionals well as we continue to grow our client base and increase our prominence as advisor of choice in the sector.'
Colliers’ Industrial and Logistics team in Germany comprises 40 professionals across eight offices: Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich and Leipzig. The team specialise in the acquisition, sale, leasing, and development of industrial, manufacturing and warehouses; acting for a range of clients including private landlords, property developers, institutional landlords together with local and national occupiers.
'2017 saw strong growth in the sector, with a record number of portfolio deals; company takeovers and many investors choosing to grow their logistics investments over other asset classes. However, there is no room for complacency as clients look to their advisors for the right advice to achieve the best results,' said Peter Kunz, head of industrial & logistics, Germany & EMEA. 'Strengthening our team in local markets means that we are best placed to serve our clients and help them maximise opportunities.'
