Cushman & Wakefield is expanding its Project & Development Services (PDS) team, to include a new C&W Design + Build platform.
In Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), the new service will be headed by Glyn Evans, based in Prague. In parallel, Evans becomes the head of project & development services in the Czech Republic.
'The ability to deliver design, project management and construction services under a single turnkey contract is something commercial occupiers and owners are turning to more and more,' said Evans.
'Owners and occupiers no longer perceive investments into the workplace as simply an extra cost – instead, they view it as a necessary investment in the quality of the working environment, which is reflected in both tenant interest and employee productivity. Well designed and delivered interiors are also the key to recruiting and retaining a new workforce,' he added.
Evans will be joined by architect Marie Vlcková, new head of design.
According to Cushman & Wakefield, these changes are part of a global transformation of its PDS provision.
