C&W appoints new partner for its EMEA Global Occupier Services team

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Adam Cookson as a new partner in the EMEA Global Occupier Services (GOS) team.

‘Having spent nearly 20 years viewing property from the perspective of occupiers and as a client, it’s clear to me that real estate requirements are evolving and increasingly complex,’ said Cookson.

Prior to this role, he was head of properties and facilities at Sheffield Insulation Group (SIG), the distributor of specialist building products to the construction industry. Before SIG, he worked at Travis Perkins for nine years as head of property for the Northern region.

Robert Hall, chair of logistics & industrial EMEA GOS at Cushman & Wakefield, commented: ‘Adam’s client-side experience brings an added level of expertise to our occupational logistics and industrial team, ensuring we continue to offer our clients the best insight and service possible.’

Earlier this year, Cushman & Walker appointed Paul Foreman to the same team.
