British Land and the Blackstone Group on Friday submitted a detailed planning application for a new office building for financial services firm UBS in the City of London. Called 5 Broadgate, it will provide a total net office floorspace of 65,032 m[sup]2[/sup] and will include four trading floors capable of accommodating approximately 750 traders per floor.
