Arrow expands in Germany with new Düsseldorf office

Arrow Capital Partners, the investor and operator of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has expanded its platform in Germany with a new office in Düsseldorf and the appointment of Armen Gevorkian as senior investment manager for the region.

Working closely with Danilo Hunker, Arrow’s head of Germany, Gevorkian will be responsible for all investment management activity in Germany, including the acquisition of light industrial and logistics assets for Arrow’s €3 bn Cerberus-backed Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) joint venture.

Gevorkian joins from Frasers Property where he spent several years in the acquisitions team with responsibility for activity in Germany and the Netherlands. Prior to this he worked at JLL providing advice on valuations and transactions in Germany.

Hunker said: 'This appointment and the opening of a new office in Düsseldorf mark an important phase of our growth in Germany as we look to increase assets under management in the SIRE portfolio.

'An extremely diverse and liquid real estate market, Germany remains a key focus for Arrow’s activities in the light industrial and logistics sectors. We look forward to working with Armen in this new role.'

Gevorkian said: 'This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious investment management business and to work alongside such an experienced management team based in Europe, Australia and Asia.'
