Argan buys French warehouse near Orly

French logistics investor Argan has acquired a new warehouse in the commune of Wissous, France, from the project's developer, Faubourg Promotion, part of IDEC Group.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The 54,000 m2 scheme, which has just been delivered, has been let for 12 years to Samada, the logistics subsidiary of French supermarket group Monoprix.

The lease enables Samada to unite under one roof a range of activities previously scattered across several sites. The asset will also host Samada's new head office in a 1,600 m2 office block.

Located in the so-called 'golden triangle' of agro-food logistics, the site is next to the A6 motorway in Île-de-France, directly next to the Paris-Orly Airport.

The building will be certified BREEAM 'Very Good'.
