Italian asset manager Antirion has inked a deal with Italian banking group Banca Carige to buy its headquarters in Milan for €107.5 mln.
The asset is situated in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
The bank is vacating the premises, which Antirion plans to renovate and re-lease. International retail tenants will be targeted to fill the space.
The building has a total gross floor area of over 2,350 m2, spread over 7 floors above ground, plus two further underground levels. It is located in Milan's historic centre, on a major retail high street adjacent to a pedestrian area. Its neighbours include the Apple Store.
The transaction was finalised by the Fondo Immobiliare Antirion Global Comparto Core, a closed-end real estate fund managed by Antirion SGR which has medical pension fund Fondazione Enpam as its sole shareholder.
