Catella is launching a market sentiment indicator to highlight the trends and changes in the Swedish real estate debt financing market.
The Catella Real Estate Debt Indicator (CREDI) consists of two parts: a 6-monthly current and forward-looking survey of Swedish listed property companies and banks providing real estate financing in the Nordic market; and secondly, a set of indices based on publicly available data illustrating the aggregate change in credit conditions such as leverage, duration and cost of debt for the Swedish listed property sector.
'We are currently experiencing a period of rapid changes in real estate credit conditions. Catella sees a need to increase transparency in the financing situation for property companies. This is a natural development for Catella, which complements our advisory services.' says Anders Palmgren, head of Catella's Corporate Finance operations.
The first edition of CREDI can be found at www.catellaproperty.se.
