Tikehau IM has acquired a refurbished logistics asset from Compagnie du Parc de Bercy.
The asset has a gross lettable area of 29,000 m2 and is located on a 44,200 m2 plot of land by Porte de Bercy in Charenton-le Pont, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The transaction price was not disclosed.
Situated next to the Bercy2 shopping centre, the logistics park was recently subject to refurbishment and has been upgraded to ICPE standards, with a BREEAM certification of 'good' for design. Plans to regenerate the surrounding area, as well as ongoing infrastructure developments as a result of the Grand Paris project, were also taken into consideration by the buyer.
The asset is being purchased by Tikehau Logistics Properties I, a French OPCI fund created and managed by Tikehau IM.
This is the sixth deal closed by Tikehau IM’s Real Estate team since the start of 2014, with assets under management growing over to €900 mln.
Senior financing was provided by Berlin Hyp.
Catella Asset Management, who advised Tikehau on this acquisition, will be the asset manager and CBRE the property manager.
Tikehau Logistics Properties I was also advised by notary Allez et Associés and Lacourte Raquin Tatar and BDGS Associés law firms. The bank was advised by notary Flusin, Miralles et Esteve and Ashurst law firm.
