ULI Europe and M&G Real Estate are hosting a seminar in London on Friday, 15 April on the topic of how to move on from gender diversity to gender equality in the real estate industry.
The two-hour seminar will feature keynote speakers and panellists from other industries including the insurance, banking and accounting sectors, according to Lisette van Doorn, CEO ULI Europe.
‘Gender diversity in the work place is an emotional subject. During this seminar we will look at what light hard numbers shed on the debate, and how the business case in real estate stacks up against the insurance, banking and accounting sectors. Ultimately we aim to provide real estate companies with actionable strategies to execute a healthier work-life balance for both genders while jointly augmenting corporate revenues.’
Keynote speakers include Robert Baker, Director of Talent, Europe and board member of the Professional Women’s Network (PWN), Mercer; Martina Malone, Head of Capital Relations & Capital Raising at Prologis Europe and Barbara Schönhofer, CEO of Executive Search for EJS Partners Limited and founder of the Insurance Supper Club.
The keynote presentations will be followed by a panel discussion with Mercer’s Robert Baker as well as Jon H. Zehner, Global Head of Client Capital Group at LaSalle Investment Management; Kate Grussing, Founder and Managing Director, Sapphire Partners, member of 30% Club; Elisabeth Teo-Pennell, Managing Director, Business Development & Client Relations, Europe at Pramerica Real Estate Investors; and Sarah Churchman, HR Director at PWC. The panel discussion will be moderated by Judi Seebus, Editor in Chief of PropertyEU.
The seminar will be held at the M&G Auditorium at Governors House, Laurence Pountney Hill in London from 8.30 am to 11 am and includes a breakfast/networking session from 8.30-9 am and 11-11.30 am.
