LaSalle snaps up Paris office tower

La Salle Investment Management has purchased the IGH office tower in Paris from LFI Le Viala Sarl. LaSalle is planning to fully refurbish the building in partnership with Meunier Immobilier d’Entreprise and OGIC. The project includes the total restructuring of 11,200 m[sup]2[/sup] of office space, 170 parking spaces and a restaurant. Additionally, plans include a 6,000 m[sup]2[/sup] garden, intended to give the building a colourful touch. Construction work is expected to be completed by June 2009. Dominique Hertenberger and Arte Charpentier are architects for the project. Atisreal advised the investors. La Salle Investment Management manages assets of $44 bn and has 24 offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
