German firm IVG Development said that it is developing an architecturally innovative five-storey bridge construction above the buildings of its Media Works Munich business park portfolio property. IVG Development said that 65% of the five floors of office space, which starts 30 metres above the ground, have already been pre-let to the media agency GroupM.
Construction of the office space, which will add about 13,500 m2 of space to the business park, is scheduled to begin in spring 2009 with completion expected by the summer of 2010. The project was designed by the Munich architectural firm Steidle and is being handled by the Munich branch of IVG Development.
Currently, more than 100 companies are located in the roughly 100,000 m2 Media Works Munich business park developed by IVG.
