A new real estate company launched by an alliance of Swedish insurers has acquired a 720-unit residential portfolio across Sweden for an estimated SEK 1.6 bn (€161 mln).
Nya Lansa Fastigheter's maiden transaction consists of a 41,000 m2 portfolio of seven new residential properties from funds managed by Stockholm-based residential property developer-investor Slättö. The properties are located in the Stockholm districts of Knivsta and Kungsangen; Linkoping; Karlstad; Umeå and Orebro.
Nya Lansa was founded recently by the Länsförsäkringar Alliance, a collaboration of 23 customer-owned regional insurance companies, to build up a portfolio of newly build homes located in growth areas of Sweden.
