Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds (MSREF) has put the Sony Center in Berlin up for sale, according to a report in Financial Times Deutschland. BNP Paribas Real Estate has been commissioned to market the property, which Morgan Stanley acquired from electronics giant Sony at the beginning of 2008 for a reported sum of around EUR 600 mln.

Morgan Stanley is also planning to sell the Park Tower in Frankfurt, which it bought in the spring of 2008 as part of a share deal, according to the FTD report. The 115-metre high office tower has a leasable area of 18,700 m2.
